The PedalPusher E expression pedal is an extremely light-weight yet rugged extended-range (long-throw) expression pedal.
By moving parameter control to your feet, an expression pedal frees both hands to play your instrument without interruption. An expression pedal is basically a data entry device -- your audio signal does not pass through it. Think of it as a foot-controlled mouse for changing the internal parameters of the device it's connected to.
PedalPusher distinguishes itself by rotating through an extended range of 30 degrees, so you can make small changes more accurately, and large changes more smoothly. Most other expression pedals only rotate through 15 degrees, or less.
Made of 3/16" and 1/4" thick aluminum, it is extremely rugged. Yet it weighs just over a pound, so you can install several of them on your pedal board without needing a fork lift to carry it! It has a compact form factor just under 8" long, and it features recessed jacks to conserve even more space on your pedal board. You can even run the cable out the bottom for an "underground" connection.
PedalPusher uses a 2-stage gear train for coupling the physical footplate to the internal potentiometer. This linearizes the angle-to-resistance curve for ideal smoothness and consistency. And of course you'll never have to replace a string.
Plug it into any expression pedal jack on the back of your audio equipment. It has both 1/4" and 1/8" TRS connectors, so you can choose your cable type and length. It has a compatibility switch so you can swap tip and ring for compatibility with the broadest range of 3rd-party devices. It also has a hidden polarity switch that swaps heel and toe. It features a 10 kOhm linear-taper potentiometer.
A 1/4" TRS cable is included (6 ft).
